Once upon a time
You know, rocks can't talk.
But the rocky walls that surround La Cantinota have been witness to the history of this unique place, firstly opened as an inn in the 1950s. One of the first wineries to produce the prestigious Vino Santo, this rocky cave was the laboratory of Count Marchetti, the first to use the French winemaking method in our region.
Our motto comes from a document written by the Count himself…
"Dabit fructum in tempore"
It will bear fruit in due time: we draw new strength every day from the history of our inn. We push ourselves every day to give our best, to add new value to our inn and to you guests, always starting from the most genuine products of the magnificent territory that surrounds us.
In the presence of history
Before moving to the location where it is today
Before being used as a cellar, and even before being used to smoke cured meats and speck, this cave was set up as a defense outpost. The tunnels excavated by the Austro-Hungarian army before the Great War are just a few steps from our tables. A dinner at Locanda De Manincor is also an appointment with the history of Trentino!

Il Monte Brione
An imposing rock covered in vegetation, dividing Riva del Garda and Torbole, and dominating the stunning fjord of Lake Garda: this is Monte Brione, the hill that offers support and shelter to our inn. From here, it takes just a few minutes to reach Riva del Garda and Torbole, with their lively beaches, walking paths and water sports. It must also be said that Linfano is the ideal location for high-altitude excursions, to discover Upper Garda, the Valle dei Laghi, the Varone waterfalls and many other wonders.

We are Isabella and Luca, originally from Val di Fiemme, united by a passion for food, for wine and for Trentino. We want to share this love to all our guests, with a genuine, unfussy menu, aligned with tradition, but always with the utmost attention to detail. The result is the creation of a well-defined style, to be discovered once seated at the table.
